MOTION BY SALARY BOARD MEMBER — To approve Minute No. SB 11-30-22 dated November 30, 2022. Chairman asks for PUBLIC COMMENTS. MOTION — (made by Salary Board Member) To approve the personnel requests found on the FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION chart. CHAIRMAN — NOTES FOR THE RECORD — All leaves of absence that occurred since November 30, 2022 until the present are to be noted for the record. CHAIRMAN NOTES FOR THE RECORD — It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2022 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources. ADJOURNED Salary Board Minute No. SB 11-30-22 Washington County Commissioners Washington, Pa., November 30, 2022 The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Diana Irey Vaughan, Larry Maggi, Nick Sherman and Controller April Sloane. Also present: Director of Administration Mike Namie; Human Resources Director Shelli Arnold; Treasurer Tom Flickinger; Chief Deputy Sheriff Anthony Mosco and Captain Anthony Interval; Executive Secretary Randi Marodi; Chief Clerk Cynthia Griffin; Administrative Assistant Joyce Thornburg; Secretary Paula Jansante; Observer -Reporter representative Joe Jasek and concerned citizens Frank Byrd, and David Geisinger. Chairman Vaughan called the meeting to order at approx :31 p.m. Moved by Mr. Sherman, seconded by Mr. Maggi, November 17, 2022, as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Sherman — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None. SHERIFF Chief Deputy Shf Start $24.52/hour; create $23.81 /ho (Corporal) Mr. Mosco — Yes; Motion carried. No. SB 11-17-22 dated Deputy Sheriff II (Corporal), e board, Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff I, Start when the newly created Deputy Sheriff II approving the foregoing personnel request. Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Ms. Sloane — No. EMERGENCY SERVICES Emergency Services, Emergency Management Operations Officer, $67,000.00/year increased to $69,000.00/year; increase in annual salary for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 11 /30/2022. CHILDREN & YOUTH SERVICES Children & Youth Services, Social Work Supervisor to Casework Supervisor; title change for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 11 /30/2022. Moved by Mr. Sherman, seconded by Mr. Maggi approving the foregoing personnel request. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Sherman — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Ms. Sloane — Yes. Motion carried. LEAVES OF ABSENCES — November 3 2022 to November 29 2022 Mrs. Vaughan noted for the record the following leaves of absence: Beth Alexy, Clerk Typist II, 10/18/22 to 11 /28/22 Justine Crow, Casework Supervisor, 11/21/22 to 02/13/23 Meg Sullivan, Problem Solving Courts Admin, 10/28/22 to 10/28/23 Chairman Irey Vaughan stated for the record it is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2022 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
