PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 341 Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, March 14, 1991 The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session in the Public Meeting Room, Courthouse Square, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Assistant Solicitor Emery; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Francis Pettit, Executive Assistant; Dave Suski, JTPA Director; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; Barbara Loeper, WKEG; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; and Colleen Gentilcore, Herald Standard. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately 10:05 a.m. and entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 340. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving Minute No. 340 as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Assistant Solicitor Emery recommended that the following bids continue to be tabled for review: 1. Washington County Health Center Lintel Repairs 2. Financial Information System Hardware 3. Fund Accounting Software 4. Medical Supplies Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, to continue to table the bids as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a Provider Agreement with Greenbriar Treatment Center relative to the Drug and Alcohol Program. The term of the agreement is March 1, 1991 through June 30, 1991. The services will be provided at a per diem rate of $140.00; total cost of the agreement will not exceed $25,000.00. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Provider Agreement as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an Agreement with Western Area Vocational Technical School of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, C 1 17 MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA FRANK R. MASCARA, METRO PETROSKY, JR, EDWARD M. PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS for the provision of IV therapy training for WCHC staff for the period of April 1, 1991 through March 31, 1992, at a cost of $50.00 per person trained. above. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Agreement as per Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an Addendum to the Agreement with GTE Data Services, Inc., relative to the Judicial Information System. The Addendum provides for the deletion of the purchase of a laser printer at a cost of $5,640.00 and the purchase of additional equipment up to this same amount. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Addendum as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a request from Coroner Jackson for the Board to adopt a Resolution establishing the following fees and charges of the Coroner's Office when requests for examinations, reports or other professional services are made by other counties or persons: (a) Autopsy reports $100.00 (b) Toxicology reports $ 50.00 (c) Inquisitions $ 50.00 (d) Each autopsy and protocol $400.00 (e) Laboratory fees in accordance with the schedule then in effect between the County and its contracted lab. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, adopting the Resolution as per above; this action being in accordance with Act 152 of 1990. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a revised Fee Schedule of the VFW Post 764 Ambulance Service of McMurray, Pennsylvania, relative to the Coroner's Office. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the revised Fee Schedule as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. W BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY. PENNSYLVANIA FRANK R. MASCARA, METRO PETROSKY, JR., EDWARD M. PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS - _ Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for an allocation of County Liquid Fuels Tax Funds in the amount of $18,000.00 for the purpose of increasing the total encumbrance for the Western Center Bridge Project to $408,849.10. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, approving the Liquid Fuels Application as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an Agreement with the Washington School District in the amount of $20,000.00 for the provision of remedial education to 25 summer youth under the Summer Training and Education Program (STEP). The term of the agreement is March 14, 1991 through September 30, 1991. Agreement.
