Washington County Commissioners
Washington, PA, October 3, 1991
The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session in the
Public Meeting Room, Courthouse Square, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following
members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso. Also being
present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Solicitor Bassi; Stephanie Parish, Secretary; Francis
Pettit, Executive Assistant; Coroner Jackson; Dave Suski, JTPA Director; Bill Prentice,
Property and Supplies; Dottie Ruttel, Harmarville Clinic; Thomas Balaban, Richard Simms
and David Smith, representatives of the Washington County Firemen's Association, Inc.;
Melanie Thomas -Finney, Planning Commission; Cathy Caldwell, WKEG; Jon Stevens,
Observer -Reporter; and Jim Jefferson, WJPA.
Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately
10:10 a.m. and entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 366.

Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving Minute No. 366 as

Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
Commissioner Petrosky read a Proclamation designating October 7-13, 1991, as
Physical Therapy Week.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, adopting the foregoing
Proclamation.

Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Commissioners presented the Proclamation to Dottie Ruttel of Harmarville
Chairman Mascara read a Proclamation designating October 6-12, 1991, as Fire
Prevention Week.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, adopting the foregoing
Proclamation.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Commissioners presented the Proclamation to Thomas Balaban, President of
the Washington County Firemen's Association, Inc.
NEW BUSINESS
Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an
Addendum to the Agreement with The Share -A -Crop Program which increases the amount from
$150.00 to $500.00.
