Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, August 27, 1990 A Special Meeting of the Board of Washington County Commissioners was held on Monday, August 27, 1990, at 10:05 a.m. in the 7th Floor Conference Room, Courthouse Square, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of opening and awarding bids for two (2) 1991 Police Vehicles for the Sheriff's Office. Members present: Commissioners Mascara and Petrosky. Absent being: Commissioner Paluso. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Kathy Emery, Assistant Solicitor; Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration; Controller Belcastro; Sheriff Fazzoni; Nancy Bielawski, Contract and Communications Manager; Linda Ritzer, Observer -Reporter; Bob Dulaney of Washington Ford, Inc., and Frank Pascale of Davies and Tregembo Ford, Inc. Controller Belcastro opened and read the following bids: TWO (2) 1991 POLICE VEHICLES FOR SHERIFF'S OFFICE 1. Davies and Tregembo Ford, Inc. 728 McKean Avenue Charleroi, PA 15022 Total Amount of Bid: $13,650.00 Vehicle #1 $13,900.00 Vehicle #2 $27,550.00 TOTAL Certified checks in the amounts of $1,365.00 and $1,390.00 accompanied the bid. 2. Washington Ford, Inc. 607 Washington Road, Route 19 Washington, PA 15301 Total Amount of Bid: $13,885.00 Vehicle #1 $14,235.00 Vehicle #2 $28,120.00 TOTAL A certified check in the amount of $2,812.00 accompanied the bid. (The meeting recessed briefly for the purpose of reviewing the bids.) Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration, recommended that the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, Davies and Tregembo Ford. Assistant Solicitor Emery concurred. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Mascara, awarding the foregoing bid to Davies and Tregembo Ford, Inc., of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, as per above; this being the lowest responsible bid received in accordance with specifications. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously.
