The Board\of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session with
the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso;

Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order and asked if there were any
icorrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 82, each member having receivedi
a copy.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 82 be
approved as written.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Solicitor Bassi recommended to the Board that the bids for the Groceries
and Staples for the Washington County Jail be awarded as follows:
H. F. Behrhorst & Son $ 5,917.77
Fayette Foods, Inc. $ 5,712.05
TOTAL $11,629.82
Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that the bids for the gro-
ceries and staples for the Washington County Jail be awarded as per above.

Bids for JointMf=, pipal Purchasing Program
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the bids received for
the Joint Municipal Purchasing Program, which have been reviewed and tabulated by'
the Planning Commission, be turned over to the Washington County Joint Municipal
Purchasing Council for certification.

Correspondence:
Chief Clerk informed the Board of the receipt of the following checks:
1. Commonwealth of Pa. - $135,585,00 - Children and Youth,
Title IV-E, Foster Care, period of 1-1-85 to 3-�31-85,
2. Commonwealth of Pa. - $3,271.62 - Federal -contribution
for EN,tA program expenses - period of 4-1-85 to 6-30-85.
Chief Clerk informed the Board of a notice from the Administrative Office
of Pennsylvania Courts that the next course of instruction for prospective District
Justices will be conducted November 11 thru December 6, 1985 in Chambersburg.
New Business:
Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval an
Agreement with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging, Inc., relative`
to the Adult Day Care Program at the Washington County Health Center for FY1985-86.
The contract is in the total amount of $90,576 with the AAA's cost being $64,144
and the County's cost being $26,432.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Agreement with
Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging, Inc., as per above.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a
,proposal from Omni Evaluation Services, Inc., of Pittsburgh, Pa., for professional

services in connection with an appraisal of the Jessop Steel Company facility.
:Fees for these services will range from $3,500 to $4,500 plus expenses. It was

`noted that 78.7% of the fees would be reimbursable to the County from the Trinity
Area School District.
Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, accepting the proposal from
Omni Evaluation Services, Inc., as per above. E

to the Washington County Airport Expansion Project (along the Airport hangar access

,request to approve applications for Liquid Fuels Tax Funds for the following muni-
rcipalities located in the Cross Creek region:

Hopewell $5,000 Mount Pleasant $5,000
Independence $5,000
It was noted that this request is for the purpose of reimbursing said muni-f
xcipalities for the work they have done at Cross Creek Park over the last three
years and that this reimbursement covers their gasoline and manpower expenses over

and Emergency Medical Technicians Association at Altoona, Pa.,
on September 20-22, 1985.
2. Request for Norma Wiencek of Judge Rodgers' Office to attend a
seminar sponsored by the Pa. Bar Institute in Washington, Pa.,
on December 10, 1985.
