Washington, Pa., May 29, 1986
The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session with
the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso.
Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Solicitor Bassi; William Sember, Rod
Kornrumpf and Floyd Laubham, Planning Commission; Henry Fiumelli, Director of
Human Services; Barbara Davis, Administrative Assistant; Judi Lomago, Executive
Secretary; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; David Rutt, President, and Lou Falbo,

Executive Director, Greater Washington Area Chamber of Commerce; Jon Stevens, �
;Observer -Reporter; Natalie Eddy, Herald -Standard; Scott Langenfeld, WKEG.
Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order and asked if there were any
corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 117, each member having received
a copy.

Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 117 be
approved as written.

Special Order of Business:
Chairman Mascara read a Proclamation designating the week of May 26-30,
1986, as Greater Washington Area Chamber of Commerce Week.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, adopting the foregoing
Proclamation.

EMA expenses - period of 1/l/86 to 3/31/86

Supplemental Engineering Agreement No. 5 with Michael Baker, Jr., Inc., relative
to extended general inspection services for Phase III of the Runway and Taxiway
Extension Project at the Washington County Airport.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Beaver Excavating Company relative to

Phase II of the Runws,y and Taxiway Extension Project at the Washington County �
Airport. The Change Order increases the original contract amount by $88,418.75.j

Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving Change Order
No. 2 with Beaver Excavating Company as per above and authorizing the Chairman
of the Board to so execute.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval
a Pre -Expenditure Plan to be submitted to the Department of Public Welfare for
the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (formerly the Public Assistance
Transportation Block Grant Program) for fiscal year 1986/87. It was noted that
the funding will remain at the 1985/86 level of $295,598.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Pre -Expenditure
Plan as per above and authorizing its submission to the Department of Public

Welfare.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval
an Agreement with DePretis and Ware Partnership of Washington, Pa., in the amount
of $9,500 for the purpose of performing an audit of the Washington -Greene MH/MR
Program for fiscal year 1985/86.
Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, approving the Agreement
with DePretis and Ware Partnership as per above.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval
an Application and Grant Agreement in the amount of $14,870.00 from the Radiatio
Emergency Response Fund administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management
Agency (PEMA) for fiscal year 1986/87.g

1. Request for Rebecca Madvay, Cindy McQuaid and Bruce Morgan
of Adult Probation to attend a training session sponsored
by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole in North
Park, Pittsburgh, Pa., on June 6, 1986.
2. Request for four (4) caseworkers of Children & Youth to
attend a conference sponsored by the Washington -Greene
County Prevention Corporation in Washington, Pa., on

June 5, 1986.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the foregoing
'travel requests and authorizing the payment of all necessary expenses incident
thereto.

materials required for the sum of $50.00.

to the bid awarded to Sun Carpet Centers as per above.
