PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 134 Washington County Commissioners Washington, Pa., October 16, 1986 The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session in Public Meeting Room, Courthouse Square, Washington, Pa., with the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara and Paluso. Absent being: Commissioner Petrosky, who has been ill. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Solicitor Bassi; Coroner Jackson; Larry Spahr, Director of Elections; Barb Davis; Administrative Assistant; Judi Lomago, Executive Secretary; Rod Kornrumpf, Planning Commission; Linda Young, Clerk -Steno II; Jon Stevens, Obse Reporter; Scott Langenfeld, WKEG; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Julie LaCaffinie, Brownsvillle Telegraph; and Robin Acton Hohn, Herald -Standard. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately 10:05 a.m. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute Nos. 132 and 133, each member having received copies. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Mascara, that Minute Nos. 132 and 133 be approved as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso- Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Old Business: Bids Solicitor Bassi recommended that the bid for the furnishing and deliverinc of three (3) 1987 Model, full size, 4-door sedans be awarded to Jim Crivelli Chevrolet, Inc., of McKees Rocks, Pa., for the total cost of $32,397.00 ($10,799. per unit) . Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Mascara, awarding the bid as per above; this being the lowest responsible bid received in accordance with the specifications. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Solicitor Bassi noted for the record that in reference to the agreement with the City of Washington for the provision of gasoline (see Minute No. 133 dated 10-2-86, p.474 for further reference), one of the provisions was changed from the County purchasing the gasoline to the County replenishing the gasoline supplied by the City. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Mascara, approving the agreements with South Franklin Township as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Compliance Policy. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Mascara, adopting the foregoing Fair Labor Standards Act Compliance Policy as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a proposal in the amount of $3,950.00 from Robert L. Bickerton of Finleyville, Pa., for the delivery of ballot boxes and devices for the 1986 General Election. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Mascara, accepting the foregoing proposal from Robert L. Bickerton. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Preston Pizzi for the purpose of Attorney Pizzi being ad- justed from a part-time Assistant Public Defender to a full-time Assistant Public Defender, replacing Attorney Tershel, effective October 16, 1986.
