PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 144 Washington County Commissioners Washington, Pa., December 29, 1986 The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in a special session in! the Public Meeting Room, Courthouse Square, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Attorney Kathy Emery, Solicitor's Office; Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration; Coroner Jackson; Kathleen Flynr Reda, Register of Wills; Mary J. Drewitz, Court Administrator; Kevin Humble, Budget Director; John Yoney, County Treasurer; Barb Davis, Administrative Assistant; Judi Lomago, Executive Secretary; Linda Young, Clerk -Steno II; Connie Mazza, Mary Vehar and George Balsley, County employees; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Scott Langenfeld, WKEG; Julie LaCaffinie Brownsville Telegraph; and Mike Kennedy, Herald -Standard. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at appi,oximately 10:10 a.m. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute Nos. 141 and 142, each member having received copies. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that Minute Nos. 141 and 142 be approved as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Special Order of Business The Commissioners presented Certificates of Appreciation to Connie Mazza Mary Vehar and George Balsley, County employees who are retiring. Old Business Attorney Emery of the Solicitor's Office recommended that the bid for Office Supplies for the period of January 1, 1987 through June 30, 1987, be awarded to the following vendors for the per unit costs as listed in their bid proposals and in accordance with the specifications (see contracts for the actua. purchased items). Modern Business Machine Supplies, Inc. Slagle's Business Machines, Inc. Hickson's Office Supply Top Office Products Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the bid for Office Supplies be awarded as per above; these being the lowest responsible bids receiv( in accordance with the specifications. 4 NOTE: As per the bid specifications, the quantities of the bid items are estimates; therefore, the total quantities could increase or decrease, depending on quantities used. 3 E E 1 1
