PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 143 Washington County Commissioners Washington, Pa., December 23, 1986 A special public meeting of the Washington County Board of Commissioners was held at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 1986, in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of fixing the salaries of all County officials governed by the Act of 1971, Nov. 1, P.L. 495, No. 113 @10.1, as amended. Members being present were: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Attorney Kathy Emery, Solicitor's Office; Bob A. Franks, Prothonotary; Kathleen Flynn Reda, Register of Wills; John F. Yoney, Treasurer; Farrell Jackson, Coroner; John Pettit, District Attorney; Ferdal Littleton, Chief Deputy Sheriff; Barbara Gibbs, Clerk of Courts; Patricia A. Beharry, Controller, Mary Holleran, Jury Commissioner, Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; and Jim Wilheim, Pittsburgh Press. Coroner's Salary Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, to increase the Coroner's salary equal to the other county officials in accordance with the Act, as amendee 1984, Dec. 18, P.L. 1067, No. 212, sal, effective January 1, 1988. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Register of Wills/Clerk of Orphans Court Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that in accordance with 1985, Dec. 13, P.L. 328 No. 87, §2, the Register of Wills/Clerk of Orphans Court shall receive the highest salary fixed for any one of the offices he/she holds, plus an additional amount of $2,000.00 per annum, effective January 1, 1988. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chairman Mascara stated that the salary increases shall be on a percentage basis as follows: 1988 - 440 1989 - 440 1990 - 6,00' 1991 - 690 Some discussion followed. PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS I Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, adopting a resolution lestablishing the salary of all county officers in accordance with the provisions lof Act of Assembly, 1971, Nov. 1, P.L. 495, No. 113, 81, as amended, 16 Pa. S., 1§1101, et seq, as provided on the salary schedule listed below. 3 } Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously.
