PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS I 9 Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, December 13, 1984 The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session with 'the following members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso.' Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore, Solicitor Bassi; Coroner Jackson; Judi Lomago, Executive Secretary; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Jon Stevens, Obser- iver-Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Scott Myers, WKEG; Joann Sarkett, Brownsville s STelegraph; and students from Washington High School. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately 10:00 a.m. !and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 47, ;each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that Minute No. 47 be j sapproved as read. i Roll call vote taken: r ; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. 3 Motion carried unanimously. sOld Business: In reference to the bids for the Roof Construction Project at the Washing' r � `ton County Health Center, Solicitor Bassi recommended that the bid be awarded to L. W. MILLER ROOFING, INC., of Washington, Pa., subject to the recommendation of Neilan Engineers. 3 Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that the bids for the Roof! €Construction Project be awarded as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Detwiler & Sons, Inc. } Kimberton, PA Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that the bids for the flag land markers for Veterans Graves be awarded as per above. Commonwealth of Pa. - $127,862.23 - Medical Assistance 2. U. S. Treasury - $124,865.00 - Department of Labor - Employment and Training, Indirect Cost Reimbursement for 1980, 1981 and 198� f `New Business: Chief Clerk presented to the'Board for their consideration and approval !Resolutions authorizing the sale of surplus personal property consisting of (a) I =one County vehicle; and (b) law books and law book encyclopedias. k � Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, adopting the foregoing :Resolutions. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a request to renew the service agreement with Cincinnati Time Recorder for the parking garage equipment. Chief Clerk noted that the renewal would be for the ,period of January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1985, at a cost of $5,475.00. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, approving the foregoing Service Agreement with Cincinnati Time Recorder. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. I Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval €a request to approve agreements with the following physicians for the provision ;of medical service to the inmates at the County Jail at a cost of $350 per month ;,per physician. Chief Clerk noted that the term of the agreements would be from !January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1985. Chief Clerk also noted that these ?agreements would replace the agreement with Dr. Dennis Davis who is resigning effective December 31, 1984. Lloyd D. Dennis, M.D. Richard L. Gough, M.D. James C. Chief Clerk informed the Board that the following individuals have been recommended for appointment/reappointment to the MH/MR Advisory Board for the f 3-year term of January 1, 1985 throught December 31, 1987; } Appointment of: Carmen S. Roll call vote taken: 4 Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously.
