Washington County Commissioners
Washington, PA, June 17, 1982
The Board of Washington County Commissioners met in regular session
with the following members being present: Commissioners Paluso, Gilmore and
Mascara. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore, Administrative Assistant
Davis; Solicitor Bassi; Lou Lignelli, Acting Director of Property & Supplies;
Farrell Jackson, Coroner; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Linda Miller, Tribune -
Review; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Bob Sabot, WKEG; Barbara Senich, Observer -Reporter
and Joann Sarkett, Brownsville Telegraph.
Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately
10:00 a.m. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to
Minute No. 120, each member having received a copy.
Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 120 b
approved as read.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.

Chief Clerk informed the Board of the receipt of the following check

Chief Clerk made available to the news media copiesof a News Release
in reference to the following project:
New Business:
1. Morris Township Recreation Project - Phase II
Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and
approval an Amendment to the Agreement with the Department of Public Welfare
(Contract No. 57311893)which adjusts the number of clients from 11 to 9 pursuant
to the Marcy Closure Plan. Chief Clerk noted that this has been reviewed by the
MH/MR Administrator and the Human Services Director.
Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the foregoin
Amendment to Contract No. 57311893 with the Department of Public Welfare.

Regarding the WCETA Program, Chief Clerk presented to the Board for
their consideration and approval a Contract with Washington Institute of Techno-
logy to add 8 additional training slots to the Washington Institute of Technolog
contract in the field of Electronics Training. Sufficient funds are available
in the budget to accomplish this without increasing the amount of the contract.
This addition will change the total number of training slots from 38 to 46.
Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the Contract
with Washington Institute of Technology as per above.

Chief Clerk presented to the Board the following Supplemental Budget
Appropriation requests for their consideration and approval:
1. Request from the Courts - Other Related Costs - for the trans-
fer of $2,000 to Account No. 0808-447-03 (Miscellaneous Ex-
penses) from Account No. 0808-446-05 (Juror's Luncheons)
2. Request from the County Airport for the transfer of $864.00
from Account No. 1701-403-00 to Account No. 1701-454-00 to
purchase supplies for the summer help at the Airport
Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the foregoin
Supplemental Budget Appropriation requests.

Chief Clerk announced to all those present that there will be a
Salary Board Meeting at 4:00 p.m. today and on June 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the
Public Meeting Room. A1so,Chief Clerk announced that the Commissioners' Meeting
for next week (June 24th) has been changed to 10:30 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m.

Solicitor Bassi presented to the Board for their consideration and
approval the following tax refund.
Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the Tax Assessmen
Office be authorized to prepare the following tax refund due to either duplicati
or overpayment of real estate or personal property tax:

accepted from DAVID D. & CAROL A. FLEMING, Washington County Tax Claim Bureau
receiving the consent of the taxing districts involved: Ringgold School District
