COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 124 Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, July 8, 1982 The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present: Commissioners Gilmore and Mascara. Absent beinc Commissioner Paluso who was out of town. Also being present: Susan Fazzolari, Executive Secretary; Solicitor Bassi; Coroner Jackson, Bill Sember, Director of the Planning Commission; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Jon Stevens, Observer - Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA and Helen Miller, League of Women Voters. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at approximately 10:30 a. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 123 each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Mascara, that Minute No. 123 be approved as read. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Old Business: Bid Solicitor Bassi recommended to the Board that the bid for the Interior Courthouse Renovation Project Phrase III be awarded to F. J. BUSSE, INC., this being the lowest and most responsible bid received in accordance with the speci- fications. Mr. Bassi noted that this was the same company that has done the work in the Courthouse for Phrase I and II of this project. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Mascara, that the bid for the In- Iterior Courthouse Renovation Project Phrase III be awarded as per above. Commonwealth of Pa. - $38,633.50 - representing final payment on State Grant for Cross Creek Watershed 2. Commonwealth of Pa. - $3,152.10 - represents 3rd quarter payment for Indo-Chinese Refugees Relief thru April INew Business: Ms. Fazzolari presented to the Board for their consideration and approv+ Ithe following Supplemental Budget Appropriation requests: 1 �.l -JI M MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. Request from the Washington County Health Center for the transfer of $480 from Account No. 1054-453-00 to Account No. 1054-428-01. 2. Request from the Liquid Fuels Department for the transfer of $4,000 from Account No. 2310-428-00 to Account No. 2310- 454-00. I 3. Request from the Planning Department for the transfer of ! $12,000 from Account No. 0121-406-00 to Account No. 0121- 403-00. The $12,000 was budgeted for Richard Glance, per diem employee, however his salary is being charged to salaries of professional staff. This transfer will correct the situation. 4. Request from the Planning Department for the transfer of $8,649.29 from the Liquid Fuels Account into the Planning Commision Account No. 0121-403-00. Amount represents actual P time spent by the Planning Staff on Liquid Fuels work and conforms to 1982 operating budgets of Planning and Liquid Fuels Department. 5. Request from the Emergency Medical Services for the trans- ! s fer of $2,000 from Account No. 0158-456-00 to Account No. 0158-424-00 to cover anticipated costs. Motion carried unanimously. Ms. Fazzolari requested authorization to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of T-hangar aprons at the Washington County Airport. e Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Mascara, giving authorizat on to advertise for bids as per above. Motion carried unanimously. 1 Regarding the Human Services Department, Ms. Fazzolari presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a-subcontxact with Mon Valle Health & Welfare Council to administer the Adult Services Block Grant. Motion carried unanimously.
