COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 133 Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, September 16, 1982 The Board of Washington County Comni.ssioners met in regular session with the following member being present: Commissioners Mascara, Gilmore and Paluso, Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore, Administrative Assistant Davis, Solicitor Bassi, Roland Bourke, Executive Director of the Redevelopment Authority; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter and Lucy Rea, interested citizen. Chairman Mascara called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 132, each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 132 be approved as read. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Special Order of Business: Roland Bourke, of the Redevelopment Authority, presented to the Board a Resolution authorizing the execution of a close-out agreement between the County of Washington and the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for UDAG Project No. B-81-AA-42-0229. Mr. Bourke briefly outlined the project. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the foregoing Resolution. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Old Business: Awarding of bids Solicitor Bassi recommended to the Board that the bids for the furnishing and deliver- ing of 750 Tons of 2A Aggregate Material for Cross Creek Park be awarded to DON SWART TRUCKING, INC., of Wellsburg, WV, this being the lowest responsible bid recei-ved in accordance with the specifications. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the bid for the 2A Aggregate for Cross Creek Park be awarded as per above. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Correspondence: Chief Clerk informed the Board of the receipt of the following checks: 1. Application to HUD for 300 additional units of Section 8 Existing Housing Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the following Supplemental Budget Appropriation requests: 1. Request from the Bridge Department for the supplemental appropriation in the amount of $1,543.02 for a PUC Order - Washington County share for repairs made to the Bulger Bridge pursuant to PUC Order No. C-812608. 2. Request from the Parks Department for the transfer of $250 from Account No. 0156-421 (Advertising) and $750 from Account No. 0156-406 (Temporary Wages) to Account No. 0156-452 (Automotive Operation). Transfer $500 from Account No. 0156-451 (Office Supplies) to Account No. 0156-457 (Equipment Repair) Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the foregoing Supplemental Budget Appropriation requests be approved. Chief Clerk requested authorization to advertise for bids for groceries and staples for the Jail and the Washington County Health Center for a 3-month supply.
