Also being present: Administrative Assistant Davis, Charles Gillespie, Budget Director; Richard Brady, Property & Supplies Director; Roland Bourke, Redevel- opment Authority; Farrell Jackson, Coroner; Bob Sabot, WKEG; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; George, Eckert of lionongahela,'Helen Miller, League of Women Voters, Harry Brock of Kopper Foods and Sam Oliverio, Democrat Party. Chairman calleu tiie r.,Leting to order at, approximately 10:09 a.m. and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No.52 each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute "To. 52 be approved as read. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Special Order of Business: Roland Bourke, Executive Director of the Redevelopment Authority, presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a Resolution approving a Proposal for Redevelopment of Parcels in the Poplar and Walnut Street Area in the City of Washington for new single family homes. 14r. Bourke outlined the project in detail. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving the foregoing Redevelopment Resolution. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Pir. Gilmore - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Old Business: Bids - Groceries and Staples for County Jail Acting Solicitor Retos recommended to the Board that the bid for the groceries and staples for the County Jail be awarded to H. F. BEHRHORST, 3115 WASHINGTON PIKE, BRIDGEVILLE, PA; this being the only and most responsible bid received in accordance with the specifications. 'loved by Mr. Gilmore, seconded by Pir. Treasury - $121,000.00 - rrznlovment and Training Program New Business: Administrative Assistant Davis presented to the Board a Building Equip- ment r-iaintenance Agreement with 71CC Powers of Pittsburgh for the Courthouse Square Building effective February 1, 1981 for a one-year period for the annual amount of $4,967.00. Moved by Mr. Gilmore, seconddd by Per. Paluso, approving the Building Equipment Maintenance Agreement with MCC Powers of Pittsburgh as per above. Roll call vote taken: '1r . Paluso - Yes; i,Ir.. Regarding the WCETA Programe Administrative Assistant Davis presented to the Board a PSE Agreement with Burgettstown Borough for one policeman for $10,000.00. The period of the Agreement will be January 1, 1981 through Sentem- .Der 30, 1981. This is under the C'EITA Title IID. Administrative Assistant Davis presented to the ?Board an amendment to a 1930 agreement with .1ashington County Board of Assistance. Due to overexnendi- tures in certain cost categories, it is necessary to increase the agreement by $5,694.01. This is under Title VI - Special Project. Administrative Assistant Davis presented to the Board Amendments to the following FYP31 Agreements; said amendments due to recent `gage increases: Previous Add. Monies. Revised Contractor Title Auth.
