PALUSO, COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 84 Washington County Commissioners Washington, PA, September 10, 1981 The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present: Commissioners Gilmore and Paluso. Absent being Commissioner Mascara. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore, Administra- tive Assistant Davis, Solicitor Bassi, Lou Lignelli, Acting Director, Property and Supplies; Farrell Jackson, Coroner; Henry Fiumelli, Director of Human Services; Linda Hands, Secretary; Linda Miller of WESA; Bob Sabot of WKEG; Jim Jefferson of WJPA; Dave Budinger of The Observer -Reporter; Joann Garkett of The Telegraph; Lucy Rea of The Girl Scouts; Helen Miller of The League of Women Voters; Earl Riggle and Herschel Bebout, bidders. Vice-chairman Gilmore called the meeting to order and asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 83 each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Gilmore, that Minute No. 83 be approved as read. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Correspondence: I Chief Clerk informed the Board of the receipt of the following checks: 1. U. S. Treasury - $150,000.00 - Employment & Training Program 2. Commonwealth of PA - $199,909.32 - Medical Assistance Payment for the month of May New Business: Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the Year -End Expenditure Report for the Washington -Greene MH%MR Program. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Gilmore, approving the foregoing Report and authorizing the Chairman to so execute. Roll call vote taken: a i Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Also in reference to the MH/MR Program, Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval a Purchase of Service Agreement with Pleasant Manor, Inc., at a per diem rate of $59.98. 4� MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY. Chief Clerk presented to the Board a request from the Chief Assessor to f accept a proposal from Oliver Evaluation Services, Inc., for an amount not to exceed $3,000.00 for professional services in connection with a summary report ;with reference to the appeal of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Gilmore, accepting the proposal from Oliver Evaluation Services, Inc. as per above. i Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Gilmore - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Clerk presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the following Supplemental Budget Appropriations: 1. Request from the Health Center (Laundry) for the transfer of $5,000 to Account No. 1052-459-00 (Bedding & Linen) from Account No. 1052-428-00 (Contracted Laundry Services), 2. Badzik Printing Service, Inc. 409 Thompson Avenue Donora, PA 15033 in accordance with the advertisement of the County Commissioners inviting proposals for printing and delivering to the Office of the County Commissioners the necessary ballot pages for the conduct of the Munici- pal General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 1981, having ex- amined the attached specifications and understanding the same, I (or we) propose to furnish said ballots in accordance therewith at the price set forth: Approximately 10,000 official ballot pages price per thousand for pages furnished $1,280.35 Approximately 7500 absentee ballot pages assembled and stapled by precinct price per thousand furnished $ 578.80 Approximately 20,000 orange official specimen ballot pages reduced for election districts to be printed on a single sheet by precinct (17a x 222 max. size) price per thousand for ballots furnished $ 265.70 Thirteen single sets of specimen ballot pages (reduced) printed on a single sheet by precinct.
