Absent being: Commissioner Flynn. Also present being: Chief Clerk Murphy; Administrative Assistant Whalen; Solicitor Hormell; Assistant Solicitor Gilmore; Sheriff Debreezeni; Frank Roney, Solicitor for the Controller's Office; Abraham Nasin of the Controller's Office; Reporter Robertson of the Observer -Reporter; Reporter Liesch of the Brownsville Telegraph; Eric Bugaile of WESA; Earl Bugaile of WKEG; -and Reporter June Lilley of the Canonsburg Daily Notes. Acting Chairman asked if there were any corrections, additions, or omissions to Minute No. 33-S, each Commissioner and County Controller having received copies. as read. Moved by Mr. Elish, seconded by Mr. Paluso, -that Minute No. 33-S be approved, Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Elish - Yes; Mr, Jones - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Mr. Elish, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the salaries of the following secretaries in the Magisterial Districts indicated be approved: 208 SALARY MINUTE -BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA MICHAEL R. FLYNN, JOHN P. BEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT #8: Albina Belsenti replaced regular secretary Eleanore Lutes two days due to illness on March 22 and 23, 1973. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT # 14: Temporary employment of Jean F. Howard, Secretary, for a period of two weeks (April 2, 1973 April 13, 1973) at $13 6, 50 bi-weekly. (Mr. Jack Merdian entered the meeting.) Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Elish - Yes; Mr. Jones - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE: Please Note: Resignation of Marilyn Kerekes, Clerk -Stenographer, effective May 4 1973. ELECTION OFFICE: Moved by Mr. Elish, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the Election Office be authorized to hire, on a temporary employment basis, 8 to 10 men for the delivery of election tables, booths, and chairs to be used at the discretion of Director Muscaro. These men will be paid on an hourly basis of $2. 50 per hour. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Elish - Yes; Mr. Jones - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PLANNING COMMISSION: Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Elish, that the salary of William Paul Gilbert, Senior Planner, be set at $12, 000 annually, effective May 14, 1973. This is a 1973 budget item. Also included in this motion is that the salary of William Schied, Community Plan- ner, be set at $10, 000 annually, effective June 4, 1973. This is a 1973 budget item.
