BEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS retirement rolls of the County but will retain his official status as Probation Officer. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Jones, that Geoffrey Smith, Probation Officer, be removed from the County payroll as per Court Order dated July 16, 1973, effective August 3, 1973; this move on Mr. Smith's part removes him as an employee of Washington County; and also by this move, he relinquishes any claims he would otherwise be entitled to as a County employee. Roll call vote -taken: Mr. Jones - Yes; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Elish - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned. Also present being: Chief Clerk and County Administrator Whalen;Sheriff Debreczeni; and Reporter Budinger of The Observer -Reporter. Meeting called to order by Chairman and roll call taken: Nfr. Jones - Present; Mr. Paluso - Present; Mr. Elish - Present; Mr. Flynn - Present. Chairman asked if there were any corrections, additions, or omissions to Minute No. 41-S, each Commissioner and County Controller having received copies. as read. BEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS 11 COMMISSIONERS OFFICE: -Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Jones, that the salary of Tina Baron, Clerk - Steno, be increased from $150. 50 to $174.50 bi-weekly, effective August 6, 1973. MISCELLANEOUS ADMINISTRATION: Moved by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the salary of Sandy Polo, Informa- tion and Xerox, be set at $150. 50 bi-weekly, effective August 13, 1973. REAL ESTATE DEPARTMENT: Also included in this motion is that the salary of Marie Campagna be increased from $150. 50 to $158. 00 bi-weekly, effective August 20, 1973, this being the result of additional duties. COURT HOUSE STAFF: Moved by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the salary of Larry Liberatore, Carpenter, be increased from $183. 00 to $202. 00 bi-weekly, effective August 20, 1973. Moved by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Elish, that the salaries of the following secre- taries in the Magisterial Districts indicated be approved: MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT #8: Albina Belsenti replaced Eleanore Lutes on July 27, 30 and 31, 1973, due to illness. Albina Belsenti will replace Eleanore Lutes while on vacation starting August 20, 1973, and Lasting for six days. I MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT #10: Clara Dewey will replace Anna Mae Pivac while on vacation from August 30, 1973, until Septem- ber 4, 1973. M.nko, Nurse's Aide replacing Diana Foflygen, be set at $2. 00 per hour, effective August 6, 1973. WOMEN'S HOME: Also included in this motion is that the salary of Sandy Jones, Nurse's Aide replacing Johanna Coakley, be set at $16. 00 per day or $160. 00 bi-weekly, effective August 20, 1973. JUVENILE DETENTION HOME: Moved by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Elish, that a voucher be prepared in the amount of $132. 60 for Daniel Luppino, Detention Home Counselor, who worked a total of 39 hours @ $3.40 per, hour for the dates from August 1, 1973 thru August 14, 1973. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Jones - Yes; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Elish - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PROTHONOTARY'S OFFICE: Moved by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the salary of Karren Haught, replacing Nancy Paul, be set at $143. 50 bi-weekly, effective August 10, 1973. Motion carried unanimously. Sheriff Debreczeni read a Court Order signed by the Honorable Judge Charles G. Sweet which stated that on Tuesday, September 18, 1973, at 10:30 a. m. is set for consideration of the matter of bail for Annette Gilly and Silous Huddleston. Said Order further stated that it should be borne in mind that these two persons have pled guilty to murder generally, but that degree of guilt hearings have not been held for them and the Commonwealth has specifically requested that the degree of guilt hearings on each of these two defendants -be not yet held and defense counsel have concurred in this request. Wednesday, September 19, 1973, at 1:30 p. m. is fixed as the time for the sentencing of Aubran W nyne Martin. The degree of guilt hearing on Claude E.
