Washington, Pa., October 15, 1975
The regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Prison Board was held
on Wednesday, October 15, 1975, at 11:30 a.m. , in the Public Meeting Room with the
following members being present: Sheriff Debreczeni; Judge DiSalle; Judge Gladden;
Controller Mascara; and Commissioner Paluso. Absent being: District Attorney Costa;
Judge Hanna; Commissioner Jones and Judge Sweet. (Commissioner Flynn entered the
meeting later.) Also being present: Warden Roupe; Chief Clerk and County Administrator
Whalen; Earl Bugaile of WKEG Radio; Bob Robertson of the Observer -Reporter and
Phil Angelo of the Daily Notes.
Chairman asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute
No. 21-P, each member having received a copy.
Moved by Judge Gladden, seconded by Judge Simmons, that Minute No. 21-P
be approved as circulated.
Motion carried by unanimous vote cast by the Board signifying their approval
verbally by stating "Aye."
Warden's Report:
Warden Roupe stated that operations of the County Jail .during the last month
have been normal. Warden stated that at the next meeting he will have a report on the
Warden's Workshop which was held last week.
(Commissioner Flynn entered the meeting.)

Moved by Judge Simmons, seconded by Judge Gladden, that the bills for the
month of September be paid.
Motion carried by unanimous vote cast by the Board signifying their approval
verbally by stating "Aye.11
Judge Gladden asked how the scheduling of the record room was working out.
Warden Roupe stated that they have posted the signs stating when the record room may
be used, and that it seems to be working alright.
Mr. Paluso stated that he has not received any more complaints.
Chairman stated that at 12:00 Noon today, dedication ceremonies will be held at
the recreation yard of the County Jail. Chairman then stated that the members of the
Board are invited to lunch immediately following the dedication.
Meeting adjourned.
