BEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS adjourned, Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be Meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: ' February 20 1964 ATTEST: CHIEF CLERK NO. 11 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 17, 1964 Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 10:00 a.m., for the purpose of awarding the contract for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property Damage, Comprehensive A.C. V. , Fire, Theft and Collision Coverage. Bids opened and tabled on Thursday, February 13, 1964, as per advertisement. Those /Commissioners Flynn, Bevec and Mazza.. Also present being: present at this meeting being Chief Clerk Debreczeni, Jr., Mr. Tucci, Insurance Broker for the County and Messrs. Hott, Sr. , and Jr., representing George H. Hott Agency, Inc. Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Meeting called to order -by Chairman of the Board, Michael R. Flynn. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Flynn, that all bids be rejected and re -advertised for furnishing of liability insurance. Remarks: Mr. Flynn: Reason for re -advertising being that we (Commissioners) received numerous complaints about the' specifications. Upon the suggestion of our Solicitor and advice of our Insurance Broker, we are rejecting all bids and will re -advert for new bids. Mr. Hott, Sr.: Is this information (referring to those bids received and opened on February 13th) open to the public ? Mr. Debreczeni, Jr.: Yes ---- they have been made a part of the minutes; all minutes are public records. Also, the regular meetings of the County Commissioners are open to the public. Mr. Hott, Sr►, stated that he was of the opinion that the new bidders will have an advantage in placing their bids. 1 1 insurance. Mr. Bevec withdrew his previous motion to re -advertise for liability
