The regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners reconvened at
11:00 a.m., for the purpose of opening bids for the furnishing and delivering of the
necessary ballots, election supplies, and ballot boxes required for the conducting of the
General Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, April 28, 1964. Those present being:
Commissioners Flynn, Mazza and Controller Elish. Also present being County Solicitor
Capano, Reporter Crouse, Chief Clerk Debreczeni, Jr., Budget Director Gillespie, Messrs
Ward and Robinson.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids
were opened and read by Controller Elish.

In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller inviting
proposals for printing and delivering to the Office of the County Commissioners the
necessary ballots for the conduct of the General Primary Election to be held Tuesday,
April 28, 1964, having examined the attached specifications and understanding the same, I
(or We) propose to furnish said ballots in accordance therewith at the prices set forth:
Approximately 125,000 white official ballots
j price per thousand for ballots furnished
$ 45.00
Ag)proximately 23, 000 pink official specimen
j ballots for election districts
j price per thousand for ballots furnished
$ 25.00
Approximately 20, 000 pink official specimen
ballots for candidates (as set forth in
attached specifications)
price per thousand for ballots furnished
$ 25.00
Seven single sets for specimen ballots as

set forth in attached specifications
price per five sets
$104.00
For printing, binding and delivering any
{ re -run of a ballot of any election district
because of error on the part of any county
employee
{ Minimum charge per district for re -run
j 100 ballots or less
$ 8.25
Charge per 100 re -run ballots for same district
in addition to minimum charge $ 3.75
A certified check in the amount of $500.00 is enclosed herewith as evidence
that the bidder will accept same and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of
award.
