SEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS -dow-4— adjourned. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be Meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: ATTEST: NO. 2 0 19 1964 CHIEF CLE Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 12, 1964 Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 11:00 a.m., for the purpose of awarding the contract for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property Damage, Comprehensive A.C. V. , Fire, Theft and Collision Coverage. Those present at this meeting being Commissioners Flynn, Bevec and Mazza and Contr Elish. Also present being County . Solicitor Capano, Chief Clerk Debrecgeni, Jr., Budget Director Gillespie and Insurance Brokers Amanati & Tucci. Brokers. Meeting called to order by Chairman of the Board, Michael R. Flynn. Mr. Flynn asked the recommendation of Mr. Capano and the Insurance Mr. Capano stated that the Windsor -Mount Joy Mutual Insurance Company bid is not financially reliable and therefore, this bid should .be rejected. I would suggest that you consider the next lowest bidder, which is the Harris -De Zomba Agency. Mr. Amanati stated that he would have to concur with the Solicitor. Mr. Sittler of the Taxpayers' Association entered the meeting. - Motion .by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that on the basis of the opinion of the County Solicitor and the Insurance Brokers, Amanati & Tucci, the bid as submitted by John L. Beck, General Insurance, for the Windsor -Mount Joy. Mutual r Insurance Company, be rejected for the reason that we do not feel that they are the lowest responsible bidder. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that on the basis of the recommendation of the County Solicitor and the Insurance Brokers, Amanati & Tucci, the bid for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance for. Public Liability, Property Damage, Compre- hensive A.C. V. , Fire, Theft and Collision Coverage, be awarded to the HARRIS-DE
