Washington, Pa., April 30, 1964
Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 11:30 a.m., for
the purpose of adopting a Resolution to acquire Nike Site PI-52, located partly in Union
and Peters Townships, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Following members being
present: Commissioners Flynn, Bevec and Mazza. Also present being County Solicitor
Capano, Chief Clerk Debreczeni, Deputy Controller Luketich, Reporters Crouse and Merdialn.
Keery McAmbley, Director of the Redevelopment Authority of the County
of Washington, entered the meeting and presented the following Resolution to the Board of
Commissioners.
Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following
Resolution to acquire Nike Site PI-52, located partly in Union and Peters Townships,
Washington County, Pennsylvania, for education purposes - adult vocational training pur-
poses, be adopted.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, certain real property, being Nike Site PI-52, located partly in
Union Township and partly in Peters Township in the County of Washington, State of Penn-
sylvania, known and designated as Control Area containing approximately 10.79 acres of
land in fee together with appurtenant easements for access and utilities, and Launcher Area
containing approximately 19.92 acres of land in fee together with appurtenant easements
and for access and utilities, has been declared surplus and is subject to assignment for
disposal for education or public health purposes by the Secretary of Health, Education,
and Welfare under the provisions of Section 203 (k) (1) of the Federal Property and
Adrr inistrative Services Act of 1949 (63 Stat. 377), as amended, and rules and regulations
promulgated pursuant thereto, more particularly described as follows:
WHEREAS, Washington County needs and can utilize said property for
educational purposes - adult vocational training purposes in accordance with the requirements
