Also present being County Solicitor Capano, Chief Clerk Debreczeni, Mr. Sittler of the Taxpayers' Association, Mr. Bradshaw and Reporter Crouse. Meeting called to order by Chairman, Mr. Flynn, and roll call taken: Mr. Mazza - Present; Mr. Bevec - Present; Mr. Flynn - Present Chairman asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 35, each commissioner having received a copy. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Bevec, that Minute No. 35 be approved as read. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Letter received from the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association express-, ing their thanks for the help given them during "Safe Driver Week". Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following employees of the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men, be transferred from the extra payroll to the regular payroll; this action to be retroactive to June 1, 1964. Josephine Ferlich Norma Jean Roberts Anna Zajac Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Flynn, that Clifford Poole, be appointed as Maintenance Man replacing Edward Hutter; this action to be retroactive to June 1, 1964. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - No; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes,. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Dorothy Plummer, Clerk at the Surplus Food Department, be retained for an additional two (2) week period: June 1st to 15th, 1964, inclusive. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn . - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr.. Flynn, that George Messerotes be employed in the Department of the Sealer of Weights_ and Measures; this action to be retroactive b-June 1, 1964. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Mazza - No; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes. Motion carried. Williams, this action to be retroactive to June 1, 1964. Remarks by Mr. Mazza: Does this mean we'll be spending more money in this department? Mr. Flynn: No. She'll help in transferring patients to Torrance. Mr. Bevec: She'll be working in a dual capacity, Institution District has been with- i out a woman investigator for a long time, also a typist. !
