BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
MICHAEL R. FLYNN, JOHN P. BEVEC, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
closed on Monday, June 15, 1964, and that day to be observed as a legal holiday being
that Flag Day falls on Sunday, June 14, 1964.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Michael R. Flynn
be designated as Attorney -in -Fact in order that he may execute deeds in behalf of the
County.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes.
Motion carried.
Mr. Bradshaw inquired if the County had gone on record tal.ng any type
of action protesting the proposed increase in gas rates by Columbia Gas Company.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Bevec, that the County Solicitor
be instructed to prepare a resolution objecting to the proposed increase in gas rates by
Columbia Gas Company.
Roll call vote taken:
Mr. Mazza - Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes; Mr. Flynn - Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting recessed until 11: 00 a.m., at which time bids for the electrical
work will be opened.

session at
11:00 a, m.,
for the purpose of opening
bids for the installation of
increased
electrical
capacity at the
Washington County Courthouse. Following members being present: Commissioners Flynn,
Bevec, Mazza and Deputy Controller Luketich. Also present being County Solicitor Capano,
Chief Clerk Debreczeni, Mr. Mackenzie of the Mackenzie Electric Company, Mr. Bradshaw
and Reporter Crouse.
Meeting called to order by Chairman, Michael R. Flynn.
Following bids were opened< and read by Deputy Controller Luketich.
