stated that it would be recorded.
Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Flynn, that the meeting adjourn.

Board of County Commissioners met in special session for the purpose to
form amendments to a resolution adopted unanimously by the Board of County Commis-
sioners on July 15, 1965, to increase the indebtedness of Washington County by the
amount of $250, 000. 00. Those present being: Commissioners Flynn, Bevec and Mazza.
Also present being: County Solicitor Capano.
Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Resolution
to increase the indebtedness of Washington County, be adopted:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1965, a Resolution was unanimously adopted by the
Board of County Commissioners to increase the indebtedness of the County of Washington
by the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand ($250, 000. 00) Dollars, and the debt proposed
Jo be, incurred. was within the constitutional and statutory limitations of the law as certified
by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth on Jyly 7, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the offer of the First National Bank of Fredericktown, Pennsylvania
to provide the sum of $250, 000. 00 at the interest rate of 2. 738% per annum was accepted
as the lowest bid; and
WHEREAS, a schedule.,of repayment of the principal sum and interest, over
a period of five (5) years, on an installment basis, was stipulated therein; and
WHEREAS, the need to borrow said sum of monies did not develop as soon as
originally anticipated, and for said reason the borrowing of said sum of money and the ex-
ecution of the Temporary Indebtedness Note were postponed until such time as funds were
actually needed; and
WHEREAS, said postponement makes a change in the schedule for repayment
of the principal sum and interest; in extending the time for repayment of the loan; and in
making appropriation from the general funds of the County for payment of interest on the
notes, requiring certain amendments to conform therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the Board of County Commissioners
of Washington County, as follows: That
1. The Resolution adopted July 15, 1965, (pages 424 to 426) be hereby
affirmed and readopted with the proposed amendments thereto.
2. Paragraph No. 8 be amended to read as follows:
8. There is hereby levied and assessed upon all persons and property
subject to taxation County on annual tax in each of the following fiscal years in such
amount as will yield sufficient funds for the payment from time to time of installment
payments of principal and of interest to be paid on said Note in accordance with the
following schedule:
