Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Air. Mazza, that the Board designate the following days; Monday, Wednesday and Friday as regular meeting days at 10:30 a.m. and these days to be posted upon the Commissioners' Meeting Room. Potion carried unanimously, 1 Ike Organization of the Board of County Commissioners having been effected according to Law, upon notion o-f Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that this meeting be adjourned, in order that the Board might organize as the Washington County Institution District. Motion carried unanimously, THE Ft1RfEEQ0. MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa,, January 6, 1960 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being: Commis— sioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that $10#000.00 be transfered from the General Fund to the General Fund Since Fund No, 1, for the retirement of bonds and coupons. Notion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr. Cummins., seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution received fromihe Washington Hospital, Washington, Pennsylvania, be adopted. "M IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Directors of the Washington Hospital exteM to i the County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania, heartiest congratulations and its sincerest gratitude for the Commissioners' recognition of the problem, of financing the care of needy patients in the County's voluntary hospitals, Further, that official notice be taken and a permanent record be made in the minutes of this important event whereby, because of the County' t acceptance of this responsibility, the financial burden of caring for the indigent will be shared by all rather than only those who are hospitalized because of sickness or injury." Motion carried unanimously.
