BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Washington County agrees to pay the estimated amount of 6,000.00 to The Greater Canonsburg Industrial Development Corporation as the County's share of their required entrance fee for the proposed eight (8) inch force main lead- ing from the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) property to the treatment plant at Arden. Such estimate entrance fee shall be provided for in the budget for the next fiscal year. Motion carried uaanmously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that John Paekrall, employee of the Tax Assessment Office, who had been taken off the payroll February 1, 1960 be paid the balance of his sick leave ending March 15, 1960. Kindly prepare the necessary voucher for the amount due. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Horace M. Beatty, 279 Locust Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, be appointed as assessor of the 6th Ward in the City of Washing- ton, to fill the vacancy which was created by the resignation of John T. Mercer. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Howard Q. Shanks, 474 Palm Stree,, Washington, Pennsylvania, be appointed as assessor of North Franklin Township, to fill the vacancy which was created by the reiignation of James F. Linden: Motion carried unanimousltiy. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. .1 Do 19):� • Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., April 29, 1960 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those preseht being Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Route 62209; located in Roscoe., Allenport, and Long Branch Boroughs be adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Washington County that the Plans submitted for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Route 62209; Section lop from Station 0+0.800 to Station 85+00.0; located in Roscoe, Allenport, and Long Branch Borough, Washington County; have been examined by the County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above+ named highway as contemplated by these Plans; or any damages arising but of any changes or altera- tion of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway; or any damages resulting to any property holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any i� damages resulting to any coal or other mJmer,Als in and underlying the property affected by this MINUT-E BOOK -.BOARD OF COUNTY-C-©i t44SSIONERS WASHIN13TMN 'COUNTY, PENNSYLVANiA FRANCIS E. BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS 11 [I - improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of Seven Thousand ($7,000.00) Dollars; said sum to be payable in two increments as follows: The sum of $3,5oo.00 to be paid on or before March 1, 1961, The sum of $3,500.00 to be paid on or before December 1,, 1961. This contribution by Washington County is made with the understanding that payment will be due and payable only upon certification from the Secretary of Highways that payment of the installments of $3,500.00 each have expended by the Department of Highways for the settlement of property damages for the aforesaid improvement. Mazza, that the following Revolution for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Routes 257.-3 and 257-12 all in Robinson Township., be adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Washington County that the Plans submitted for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Routes 257-3 and 257-12; from Station 14+50.00 to Station 60+37.90; all in Robinson Township, Washington County; have been examined by the County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liabil. ity for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above named highway as contomplatod by these Plans; or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction of maintename of these highways; or any damages resulting to any property hold- ings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars toward the payment of property, damages due to the improvement of State Highway Routes 257-3 and 257-12. This contribution by Washington County is made with the understanding that payment will be due and payable in 1961 and only upon edrtification from the Secretary of Highways that the sum of Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars has been expended by the Department of Highways for the settlement of property damages for the aforesaid improvement. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Resolution for the changing of existing widths, lines, and location of State Highway Route 62012; located in East Behtlehem Township, be adopted: R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Washington County that the Plans submitted for the changing of existing widths, lines, and location of State Highway Route 62012; from Plan Station 139+30.00 at the Washington -Greene County line to Station 146+50.00; located in East
