NO. 33 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., May 11, 1960 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Amor Flenniken be appointed as the authorized bookkeeper for the Washington County Commissioners Real Estate Office. This action to be retroactive to May 1, 1960. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of $35.13 be made payable to Kathleen Y. O'Brien, 965 Allison Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania,, refund due to payment made in error. On July 31, 1959, Kathleen Y. O'Brien, paid the 1959 County Tax on property situate in the 7th Ward of the City of Washington, Pennsylvania and described as 7-room stucco house and lot 42 in the Clark Plan, (this tax was paid at discount). In 1958 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania had taken this property over for the Thruway and was condemned, thus making the 1959 county tax payment of $35.13 in error. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office if hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $35.13 payable to Kathleen. Y. O'Brier, 965 Allison Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania. Receipt on file in the Tax Assessment Office. Motion carried unanimously. There.being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet- ing adjourned. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Edward Garry who address is sastonville, Pa., be appointed as Assessor for Union Township to fill the unexpired term of John School who has resigned.
