BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, 'P{ENNSYLVANIA
FRANCIS E. PETTIT, J. BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
on the inside for protection. I.am to furnish all labor, material and insurance necessary to
complete the job.
We hereby propose to furnish the above complete in accordance with the above
specifications for the sum of Seven Hundred Forty Five Dollars ($745.00).

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the proposal as submitted
by John Nicolella, for the repairing of gutters on the Washington County Jail Building, be
accepted in the total amount of $745.00, this being the lowest responsible proposal received.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being: Commis-
sioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the obligations of Washington
County to the Pittsburgh National Bank made on March 16, 1960 in the amount of $200,000.00;
May 2, 1960 in the amount of $1.00,000.00; June 6, 1960 in the amount of $50000.00 and June 15,
1960 in the amount of $25,000.00 borrowed in anticipation of current taxes be repaid with inter-
est in the amount of 3:221.70 and a total amount of principle and interest of $378,221*70.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Meeting with the Commissioners to advise them about the progress on the re-
habilitation of the Donora-Webster Bridge, was Mr. Lee Critchfield of Critchfield Engineering
Associates Incorporated, The County entered into a contract with said firm on the 14th day
of October, 1959.
