Wilson /a/ September 123, 1960 In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller inviting proposals for furnishing and delivering coal to heat the Courthouse and Jail at Washington, Pennsylvania, and having examined the attached specifications and understanding the ame, I (or We) submit the following bids: $ 7.45 per ton including delivery. The contract will be awarded Friday, Septem- ber 16, 1960, at 11:00 a.m. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., September 16, 1960 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the WILLIAM GLUM COAL CONPANY Hi.cko17, Pennsylvania, be awarded the coal contract for the 1960-1961 season, to furnish coal to heat the Washington County Courthouse and Jail Building, in accordance with specifications and according to the following bid prices: $ 6.85 per ton including delivery. $ 5.65 per ton without delivery. This shard was made upon the recommendation of Mr. Paul J. Pettit, Chief County Engineer, who after making complete study of the analysis and coal bids submitted, reported that the WILLIAM CLARK COAL COMPANY's bid conformed to the specifications. All certified checks to be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting F 1 1
