TO FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED:

Washington, Pa., September 19, 1960
Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being: Com-
missioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the
amount of $17.15 be made payable to Leroy W.. Breese et tea, said refund to cover a portion of
the Personal Property Tax paid July 14, 1958 for the year 1958.
Mry and Mrs. Leroy W. Breese on January 25, 1958, filed with the Personal
Property Department of the Tax Assessment Office, their 1958 Tax Return. This return was based
on a mortgage valued at 512.79 against George Bedillion and an Article of Agreement valued
at .512.79 with Mr. and Mrs. James Beck,
Mr. and Mrs. Leroy W. Breese erroneously filed this mortgage as their ass".
Mr. Bedillion was really the mortgagee and owner of the asset while Mr. and Mrs. Breese were
the mortgagors and indebted to Mr. Bedillion. Mr. Bedillion filed and paid the 1958 tax on this
mortgage. Therefore, a refund is requested based on the proportionate amount of the total tax
paid. The Personal Property Department of the Tax Assessment Office, is therefore authorized to
prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $17,15 made payable to Leroy W. Breese., -et ua.,
R. D. 1, Dunns Station Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a leave of absence be granted
to Geraldine Zimmerman, Cleaning Woman. This leave of absence being granted until January 1,
1961.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Cummins., seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Gerald Bartman, be appointed
as a temporary clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action to be retroactive to September
16, 1960.
Motion carried unanimously.
