Motion by Mr. Cmmai.ns, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Grace Walker, be appointed as
a temporary clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action to be retroactive to September 16,
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet-
ing adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being: Commis-
sioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cum:ains, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $90.87 be made payable to J. Nesbit McDonald, McDonald, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate pay-
ment of his 1958, 1959 and 1960 County Tax paid at discount on an assessment of 2,54.00, for
a house assessed to J. Nesbit McDonald in Robinson Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania,
and on which he paid taxes for the house and surface. This house was sold in 1956 with acreage
to Kim and Margaret Darragh and has been properly assessed to them since the year 1956, The
assessment of Mr. McDonald was not corrected, thus making a duplication for this building on the
records in which both property owners paid taxes. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office, upon
proper certification of duplicate payment is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in
the amount of $90.87 payable to J. Nesbit McDonald, McDonald, Pennsylvania, Receipts are on file
in the Tax Assessment Office.

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a �efund voucher in the amount
of $2.43 be made payable to Donald A. & Joan P. Apache, R.`D. 3, Washington, Pennsylvania, due to
incorrect payment of 1960 Occupation Tax. Mr. & Mrs. Apache were assessed with occupation tax on
property situate in South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Being that Mr. &
Mrs. Apache are not residents of said Township or said County it is not propee to be assessed
with an occupation tar, therefore, a refund in the amount of $2.43 (paid at discount) is due Mr.
& Mrs. Apache, and the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said refund. Receipts
are on file in the Tax Assessment Office.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $1.22 be made payable to Ann Roberts, R. D. 1, Charleroi, Pa., due to duplicate payment of
1959 Occupation Tax. This occupation tax is a duplication with occupation tax on the property
assessed in the name of John and Ann Roberts assessed in the district of Fallowfield Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania, and paid by said owners. This payment was duplicated when Arm
Roberts paid at discount her occupation tax (which was listed in the back of assessment book as
an individuall.) therefore, ..,refund voucher in the amount of $1.22 is due Ann Roberts, R. D. 1,
Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said
refund. Receipts are on file in the Tax Assessment Office.

1959 Occupation Tax. This occupation tax is a duplication with the occupation tax on the propert,7
assessed in the name of John and Ann Roberts assessed in the district of Fall.owfield Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania, and'paid by said owners. This payment was duplicated when John
Roberts paid at discount his occupation tax (which was listed in the back of assessment book as
an individual) therefore, a refund voucher in the amount of $1.22 is due Jahn Roberts, R. D. 1,
Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said
