THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: D A N CLERK Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., December 22, 1960 Board of County -Commissioners in special session those present being: Commis- sioners Pettit, Cummins and -Mazza. WHEREAS, The sum of $25,123.75 was transferred to the Liquid -Fuels Tax Sinking Fund by a motion of County Commissioners dated December 30, 1959 for the purpose of meeting the outstanding road bonds and interest and WHEREAS, said road bonds have not been presented for payment and - WHEREAS, said road bonds and.interest are a proper charge against the Liquid Fuels Tax Sinking Fund THEREFORE, a motion is made by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the sum of $25,123.75 be transferred from the Liquid Fuels Tax Sinking Fund to the Washington County General Fund. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meetinl adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: Dece er 3 19 A . Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the Proposal Of the Pittsburgh Regional Planning Association of December 20, 1960 in connection with the Land Use Study be accepted subject to the conditions as set forth in said proposal. Copies of said proposal are on file in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners and the Office of the Washington Planning Commission. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $2.42 be made payable to Isabelle Barnhart, Reynolds Road, R. D. 2, Washington, Pennsylvania. Reason for refund being that non-residents of Washington County are not required to pay occupation tax. On July 14, 1960, Isabelle Barnhart, paid occupation tax in the amount of $2.42 which was listed on the real estate tax for Louis J. Jr. and Edna M. Aubel, Box 68, Presto, Pennsylvania for their property which is assessed in North Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania and described as 6 room house - ti1e garage, Lot 7, DB 992-699 Lincoln Heights Plan. SLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS n Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $2.42 made payable to Isabelle Barnhart, Reynolds Road, R. D. 2, Washington, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $122.34 be made payable to Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, Trust Department, Washing- ton, Pennsylvania, due to duplicate payment of 1959 County Real Estate Tax. On June 24, 1959 7 • 4 the amount of $122.34 was paid by Mary S. Duncan on property situate in East Washington Borough described as 2 "story brick house and lot. On July 16, 1959 the Mellon National Bank & Trust Company, Trust Department of Washington, Pennsylvania duplicated this payment thus making a refund due in the amount of $122.34. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher payable Vo Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, Trust Department Washington, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza,' that the bid df James E. Selway for exterminating service be accepted as follows: Exterminating service at the Washington County Courthouse and the Washington County Jail' for the control of roaches, mince, bedbugs and any other insects except termites. The exterminating service cost for the Courthouse being $40.00 per month, cost for the County Jail being $25.00 per month. This action to become effective January 1, 1961 upon the signing of necessary papers. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be author- ized to repay the General Fund from the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund the sum of $7,000.00. Motion carried unanimously. I Office of the County Commissioner's Washington, Pa., December 28, 1960 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being: Commis- sioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that.the sum of $146,387.66 being the balance in the Liquid Fuels Fund be encumbered for the Rehabilitation and Repair of the Donora-Webster Bridge. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the sum of $1,063.75 be trans- ferred from the Liquid Fuels Fund to the Liquid Fuels Sinking Fund to reimburse for bonds and interest all ready paid.
