Matifn by Mr.- Cummins,, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau is hereby authorized to cancel Treasurer's Tax Sale dated March 24, 1942, for the 1935 County and School Tax and 1936 County, School, and City Tax, plus sale costs., for the property assessed to Burgess McElrath a/k/a Burgess McElrath., situate in the City of Monongahela, 2nd Ward, Washington County, Pennsylvania,, described as one story frame j house, 112 Third street. Said sale should be cancelled due to the fact that this assessment is an improper assessment to Burgess McElrath a/k/a Burgess McElrath and the duplicate in assess- ment with that of John Bryan for the years 1935 and 1936 see DB 540..24. The Chain of title is as follows: Lulu McElrath sold the one story frame house, 112 Third Avenue to John Bryan in 1927 DB 540-24. The present owner of said property is Harvey L. & Agnes Lenhart. Therefore, the tan sale should be void and cancelled. May 16.. 1961, and the delivering of ballot boxes with election supplies to the Judges of Election for the one hundred eighty-eight (188) precincts. Bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse., Washington,, Pennsylvania,, until 11:00 a,m.,, Eastern Standard Time., Wednesday,, February 24.. 1961, and publicly opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. CumtLns., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that notice is hereby given the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau to approve a private sale of the following described property: situate in the City of Washington 5th Ward, Washington County., Pennsylvania, Formerly owned by Daniel Brewer, the -bidder. Described as (1958 Co.) double frame house part lot 4 - 40 x 120 DB 1007-431., McAdam Plan (1958 City) Lots 40 x 125 irreg. on which is erected a 2 story double house (1959 Co.) Double frame house part lot 4 - 4o x 12o DB 1026-147 McAdam Plan. Property being sold to Daniel Brewer for the sm or price of $240-94, ,. under Section 613 of the Act of-July 7., 1947, P. L. 1368. Mr. Brewer., the bidder, is the owner of the property and is repurchasing same by making payment of the taxes and costs in full. This property was exposed at public sale by the Tax Claim Bureau for non-payment of taxes on November 10., 1960 at an upset price of $318.80. No bid was made to equal the upset price. This sale will be concluded by the Bureau at the expiration of fifteen (15) days (February 9, 1961), unless the Court of Comon Pleas is Votitioded to disapprove the said mae. Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr. Cumains, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Mary Koval., Assistant Registrar of the Registration Office., be deleted from the County Payroll effectiverthe 16th day of January,, 1961, until further notice. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummiins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Albert P. Delsandro., Purchasing Agent., who has been granted a leave of absence from his duties,, be deleted from the County Payroll effective the 16th day, of January,, 1961. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. C=mnins,, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that each salaried employee of the County shall be entitled each calendar year to 15 days of sick leave with full pay. All sick leave shall require the approval of the head of the office., department., bureau or board' Unused sick leave shall not be carried over from one calendar year to the next This action to become effective February 1., 1961. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins., secondod by Mr. Mazza., that each salaried employee of the County will be allowed one (1) day per month vacation allowance. A maximum of 12 work days per year will be allowed each employee for his vacation and Saturddye will be considered as a full work day, No vacation may be acewriulated unless approval is granted by the Board of County Cowdssioners, This action to become effective February 1., 1961.
