Griffith, as a member of the County Planning Commission, be accepted and that Mr. Clifford C..
Reynolds be appointed to fill the unexpired term effective February Z , 1961.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Paul M. Sabadash, 267
Valley Brook Road, Venetia, Pennsylvania, be appointed as Tax Assessor in Peters Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania. This appointment being made due to the fact that J. L. Grubbs
has moved.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned,

Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being:
Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the invitations for bids
on the Woodland Avenue Bridge scheduled to be opened on May loth be postponed for an indefinite
period, in accordance with the request of the Army Corps. of Engineers.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in special session those present being:
Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Budget for the
General Fund for the County of Washington for the fiscal year 1961 be finally adopted by the
County Commissioners, the said Budget having been available for public inspection in the Office
of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners from March 31, 1961, to this date, in accordance
with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935, and the rate of taxation upon the
valuation of properties of the County of Washington, in order to tax sufficient revenues to
meet required expenditures for the fiscal year 1961, be fixed at eight mills (8), which makes
the payment of taxes in the amount of (.80) eighty cents upon each $100 of assessed valuation
