Board of County Commissioners in special session those present being:
Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be
authorized to advertise for the excavation of a ditch and the furnishing and placing of a twenty.
four (24) inch Asphalt Coated Corrugated Metal Pipe - fully coated on the Beatty Property east of
State Highway T. R. 31, as a portion of Washington County's responsibility of obtaining Right -of.
Way for 1961 Chartiers Flood Control Project in the City of Washington and Canton Township in
Washington County, Pennsylvania. Bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in
the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 1:30 P.M., Eastern Daylight Saving Time, Friday,
May 19, 1961, and opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the County Commissioners, in 1
the Office of the County Commissioners.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being:
Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, to execute an agreement with
the Keystone Gas Company providing for the purchase, plugging and abandoning of a gas well on the
eastern approach of the East/West Runway at the Washington County Airport for the consideration
of $8,500.00 and that a voucher be drawn for payment of $8,500.00 to the Keystone Gas Company.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, tb__accept the proposal of the
National Transit Company, Oil City, Pennsylvania, for the relocation of an existing pipe line in
the area of the proposed fill at the Eastern extension of the East/West Runway of the Washington

County Airport. The cost of such relocation not to exceed the sum of $20,000.00.
Motion carried unanimously.
