BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the County purchase
approximately 48 acres at the Eastern approach to the East/West Runway of the Washington County
Airport from Sarah Clarke Kelly for the sum of $15,000.00.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County file an appli-
cation with the Department of Forests and Waters to widen, deepen and straighten the channel of
Plum Run between Houston and Midland in Chartiers Township, Washington County.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following persons be
named as assistants to the official return board to compute the votes cast in the Municipal
Election to be held on May 16, 1961,
meeting adjourned.

Washington, Pa., May 12, 1961
Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 11:00 a.m., for the
purpose of opening bids for the furnishing of statements to be used by the Office of the County
Treasurer in preparing 1961 tax notices. Those present at this meeting being: Commissioners
Pettit, Cummins and Mazza and Controller Elish.
In accordance with the above mentioned advertisement, the -following bid was
opened and read. This bid being the only one received.
