Mr. Elish, County Controller, left the meeting at this time and the Commissioners met in regular session. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $2.63 be made payable to Fred and Agnes Solomon, 513 Franklin Avenue, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, due to an overpayment of 1961 County Tax. On July 21, 1961, Mr. Solomon paid his County Tax in the amount of $15.29 (Net) on property situate in the First Ward of Canonsburg Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania, described as follows: 2 story frame house, Part Lots 207-209 valuation $1170 On July 18, 1961, this assessment was adjusted to $1100.00 by Tax ,Adjustment No. 2747. On July 20, 1961, Mr. Mantalis paid his County Tax in the amount of $39.63 (Net) on property situate in the First Ward of the Borough of Canons- burg, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and described as follows: 2 story brick house and Lot 203 valuation $3870,00. On August 1, 1961, Mr. Bugelli paid his County Tax in the amount of $37.49 (Net) on property situate in the Borough of Centerville, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and described as 1 story frame house, unfinished garage 1.165.acres surface valua- tion $3650.00. On August 15, 1961, this assessment was adjusted to $2125.00 by Tax Adjustment No. 3353. Correct tax on the adjusted valuation is $22.64 (Net). The payment of $37.49 caused an overpayment in the amount of $14,85 and a refund is due. On August 15, 1961, this assessment was adjusted to $2270,00 by Tax Adjustment No. 3401. Correct tax on the adjusted valuation is $24.05 (Net). The payment of $31.55 caused an overpayment in the amount of $7.50 and a refund is due. On August 15, 1961, this assessment was adjusted by removing one occupation and reducing the tax to $1.88 (net) making a refund of $ .96 due. Ad- justment made by Tax Adjustment No. 3363. On July 25,` 1961, Mr. Bruno paid County Taxes i in the amount of $72.93 and $64.95 (Net) on property situate in the First Ward of the Borough of Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and described as follows: Structs on Al plate $5270.00, Lot $1200.00 total valuation $6470.00 also following assessment 2 story frame house A t ! $2540.002 1 story block building B $4135.00 Lot 815 total valuation $7490.00. On August 15, 19, I these assessments were adjusted as follows: Tax Adjustment No. 3309 reduced the valuation to $4950.00 and Tax Adjustment No. 3310 reduced the valuation to $4415.00, making the correct taxes due at net $50.15 and $42.99. The payments of $72.93 and $64,95 caused an overpayment in the amounts of $14.80 and $29.94 or a total of $44.74 refund due. The Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said re- fund voucher in the amount of $1.28 made payable to Gladys V. Horton, 126 Richland Avenue, Canons burg, Pennsylvania. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution pertain- ing to the changing of grades; lines; and widths of State Highway Route 62090, located in Cecil and Chartiers Townships, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be adopted: R E S O L U T I O N IBE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Washington.County, Pennsylvania, that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, for the changing of grades, lines, location and widths of State Highway Route 62090, Bridge No. 5, from Station 243+00 to Station 251+45, located in Cecil and Chartiers Townships, Washington County, Pennsylvania, have been examined by the Washington County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liabilJ for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above named Route as proposed by ther plans; or any damages arising out of any changes or alterations of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this Highway, or any damages resulting to any property holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals or water, in and underlying the property affected by this improvement; that Wash- ington Count will not contribute to the payment of property damages on this Highway, due to y p ym p P y g g y� I; previous commitments.
