SLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS I Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that all bids be tabled in order to give Ethe County Engineer an opportunity to check all bids. Contract to be awarded at a later date. Motion carried unanimously with Mr. Luketich leaving the meeting. Commissioners entered into a regular business meeting. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution pertaining !to the changing of grades, lines, location and widths of State Highway Route 118 Section No. LA -A ;Service Road "J" Extension, located in Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, =be adopted: R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania, that the plans ,submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of grades, lines, location and widths of State Highway Route 118 Section No. LA -A Service Road "J" Extension, from Station 1-1 184+50 to Station 196+94.50 located in Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, been examined by the Washington County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above named Route ;as proposed by these plans; or any damages arising out of any changes or alterations of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the Highway; or any damages resulting to any property holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals, or water in and underlying the property affected by this improve- ment; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of Three Thousand and Five Hundred Dollar ($3,500.00) toward the payment of property damages on this project, as follows. - March 1, 1963 - W00.00 This contribution by Washington County is made with the understanding that payment will be due payable March 1, 1963, only upon certification from the Secretary of Highways that the sum of Three Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars ($3500.00) has been expended by the Department of for the payment of property damages on this project.
