Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members be
present: Commissioners Pettit, Mazza, I. W. McCaskey, Acting Solicitor Hormell, Reporters Crouse
and Merdian.
The Federal ('government, through the Office of Civil Defense of the Department of De
!fence, recently inaugurated a Nation-wide survey of the fall -out protection offered by existing `
jfacilities, including; publicly and privately owned buildings, mines, tunnels, and caves. A lette
received from the Governor's Office explaining this program was read by Mr. Pettit.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Courthouse be closed on Dec
23, Saturday before Christmas and on December 30, Saturday before New Years.
I Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion carried.

Following a general discussion in which it was pointed out that John F. Wiley, Esq., mho was

along the greater length of the present project (Chartiers Creek Flogd Control Project) and se—
