BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVAN#A
FRANCIS E. PETTIT, J. BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members.being
present: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins ao Mazza, Also present were: County Solicitor Massock,

Tax Claim Bureau. Solicitors Horme32 and SismoIo, Reporters Crouse and Mardian.
Brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners was Orphans' Cftl� Order

No. 4 of 1962, In Re: Beath of James R. Douglas, Register of Ville of Washington County., Pea:
vania, whereby it authorized and directed !Anthony Scatena , Chief 'Deputy to the Registerp to
exercise all the powers of the register until a successor is appointed or elected.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr# Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
Y to advertise for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance in a reliable and approved stack company for
public liability, property damage, comprehensive A.C.V., Fire., Theft, and Collision coverage
on trucks, automobiles and road -building maehinuer r owned and opomted by Washington County. Bids
to be received by the County Controller is his Office in the Ciourthousep Washington, Ponnsylva##,,
until 31:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, February 9, 1962, and opened immediately there-
after in the Office of the County Commissioners.
Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at the call of the Chair.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned.

Notion by Mr, Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that James Petros be appointed as a
Painter at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men replacing William urge; this action
Ito be effective January 3, 1962.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by :yr• Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Augustus Laws be appointed as an
Orderly at the Washington County Rome and Hospital for Men replacing Thomas Powell; this action
to be effective January 3, 1962.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Pettit, that Am Zapac be appointed as a
floating matron at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action to be effective
January 10, 1962.
Notion carried unanimously.
