Also present being: County Solicitor Masow Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hornell, Reporters Crouse and. Merdian and Mt". I. W. McCaskey, Taxpayer land citizen from Peters Township. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by 14*. Pettit, That, Vkereas 11.11iam C. Porter has snb- mitted to the County his statement for services rendered, said services being legal services, in :connection with the Chartiers Creek Flood Control Project, said statement being dated December 29, a r 1961, and being in the amount of $760.00 and whereas the employment of said RLIliam C. Porter, to perform said services, pursuant to instructions by, and with the approval of the Board of County �Conmi.ssioners, was negotiated by the late Frank J. Docktor, County Solicitor, and was authorized, I approved, and recommended by said Frank J. Docktor, and whereas the charges appearing in said stat I jment are fair and reasonable and the work therein described was necessary, and whereas the employ I - J
