NO. 218 Motion by Mr. Cumnins., seconded by Mr. Mazza., -that the meeting be adjourned. Notion carried unanimously, Office of the County Commissioners Washington, - Pa.., January 19, 1962 Board of County Comissioners net in, regular session with the following s being present: Commissioners Pettit, Cmimins and Massa. Also present beings County Solicitor Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hormell, Reporter Mardian and Mr. I. W. NaGaskey, Taxpayer and citi.son of Peters Township. Mr, Pettit reported that the Board had not with the Washington County Agricultural Extension Association in regard to their 1962 County Budget. Motion by Mr. C , seconded by Mr, Pettit, that Florence Keeney be granted a 90-day leave of absence from her duties as cleaning woman at the Courthouse; this action to be effective January 163, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Pettit stated: '"There has been considerable comment during the past several months concerning the number of employees working for the County. Naturally during the early part of 1961 additional enployees were added to the County payroll to enable the eonplotion of the ment program. Since then there has been an orderly reduction in the number of espleyees working for the County and I want to release figures showing the number of enpleyees working January 1st, a 1961; June let, 1961; and January lst, 1962e January let.,-1961 - 536 June let, 1961 — 479 January 1st, 1962 - 475 Mr, Cummixs stated: "There have been additional (4) employees added at the Rom for Aged
