Also present.be : County Solicitor Massed Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Horxell, Reporter Merdian and Mr. McCaskey, citizen and taxpayer from Peters Township. j Motion by Mr. Massa, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the Agreement between Washington ? County and Horace S. Miller providing for police training tinder our Civil Defense Program be i and executed. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Massa, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the Agreement between Washington County and William S. Morrison providing for the establishment mid training of radiological under our Civil Defense Program be signed and executed. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins., that upon the advice of John F. Wiley who is handling the Chartiers Creek Flood Control Program for the Commissioners and upon approval of ( Vincent R. Massock, County Solicitor, the voucher in the amount of $750*00 for the purchase of a gob pile and/or slate from Henry Ma jewski be approved in accordance with the terms of the bill of sale dated December 1, 1961. Young & Roam Dailoy c% Jmmes R. & Patricia Garrett, situate in the lot Ward of the City of Washington., Washington County, Pennsylvania, described as 2 story frame house, 2 story brick building and pelt 72 a 24%, total valuations being $3180. At a later date by Taos Adjustment No. 3518 this valuation ww reduced to $1740 and the tax to $17.84 making a refund duo in the mount of $14.76. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $14.76 payable to mrs. W. L. Winnett. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Hr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that a refund voucher in the amount of $11.66 be made payable to Ralph & Jane DeMaria, 118 W. Wheeling Street, Whshington, Pennsylvania due to a duplicate payment of occupation tax for the years of 1957 to 3961 inclusive. Mr, DeMar, and his wife were assessed for two occupation taxes along with their real estate in both the lot and 5th Wards of the City of Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Taxes were paid on be listings for the years 1957 to 2961 inclusive thus causing a duplicate payment and a refund is due in the mount of $11.66. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to props said refund voucher in the amount of $11.66 payable to Ralph & Jane DeMariao Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cumsdns, that a refund voucher in the amount of $24*29 be made payable to William and Stella Muskovich, R. D. 1, Bwrgettstown, Pennsylvania, due to an everpsyment of 1961 County Tax. On August 82 1961, Mr. Muskovich paid their 1961 County Tax in the amount of $50.84 for property situate in Jefferson Berough, Washington County, Penn_ sylvan a, described as J story stone house, buildings, 2 acres surface, Meal Estate valuation $4850. Occupation valuation $110. Correction slip dated December 13, 1961-reduced the occupation valuation to $20 and the real estate valuation to $2570, the tax to $26.55 making a refund due in the amount of $24.29. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $24.29 payable to William & Stella Muslowwich. Motion carried unanimously.
