BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

NOW, ARE, I, Francis E. Pettit, as Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Washington, do hereby proclaim the week of
March 1 through 7, 1962, as

contribution which state and local weights and measures officials are

Board of County Commissioners met in regular session in the Office of the County Cons-
issioners those present.being: Commissioners Pettit, Cumminsj, Mazza, County Solicitor Masaock,
Tau Claim Bureau Solicitor Hormell, I. W. 1Caskey, citizen and taxpayer of Peters Township, Mr.
Barton of Peters Township, Alex Stathas of the City of Washington, Controller Elish, Coroner
Jackson and Reporters Crouse and Merdian.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
to advertise for the printing and delivering to the Election Department of the County Commissionex
the necessary ballots and election supplies, required for the conduct of the General Primary Elect
to be held Tuesday, May35, 1962, and the delivering of ballet boxes with election supplies to the
Judges of Election for the one hundred eighty-eight (188) precincts. Bids to be received by the
County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 3100 a.m.,
Eastern. Standard Time, ienday, Larch 19, 1962, and publicly opened immediately thereafter is the
Office of the County Commissioners.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion carried unanimously.
