BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 229 Offiee of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 26, 1962 Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Massa. Also present -at this meeting were: Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hermell, Reporters Crouse and Merdian. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that George Subriek be appointed as Pan Engineer replacing Morris Coulter at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Ion; this Faction to be effective February 8, 1962. Martian carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Nro Pettit, that Louis E. Schultz be appointed !as an Orderly replacing Daniel C. Thomas at the Washington County Hem and Hospital for Men; this iaetion to be effective February 22, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cumui.ns, that the meeting be adjourned, 3 Motion carried unanimously. f �"�a r w' � �! i i •"t1�� NO. 230 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 28, 1962 Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following members Ibeing presents Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Also present being County Solicitor I - iMassock and Reporter Crouse. 1 Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be auth- i iorized to loan the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund the sum of $10,000.00 from the General Fund. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a certain Burroughs Bookkeeping Machine be purchased for the use of the County Controller at a total purchase price of $8,000*00. up6n the advice of the Solicitor, since it is a machine of a certain patented type, no public advertisement is necessary and that a contract be entered into with the company in the total amount of $8,000.00. It is agreed that the machine is to be paid in two (2) installments Of $4,000.00 each and that the Controller be instructed to charge part of the capital cost of the machine as payment is made to the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund Account. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr, Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the meeting be addo*,ned. t u 1 Motion carried unanimously.
