PETTIT, J. 6LATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 239 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 19, 1962 Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present. Commissioners Cummins and Mazza. Also present at this meeting were: County Solicitor Massock, Reporters Crouse and Merdian. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that this meeting be recessed until 11:00 am,,, at which time the bids for the supplies which are necessary to conduct the General Primary Election will be opened. Motion carried. Meeting reconvened at 11:00 a.m., with the following members being present: Commissioners Cummins, Mazza and Deputy Controller Luketich. Also present at this time were: i County Solicitor Massock, Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hormell, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Ward and Mr. Maloney. Purpose of the meeting to open bids for the necessary ballots, election supplies and the delivering of ballot boxes which are required for the conducting of the General Primary Election Ito be held on Tuesday, May 15, 1962. In accordance with the aforesaid advertisement the following bids were opened and read. - Washington County Commissioners Courthouse Washington, Pennsylvania In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for the furnish- ing and delivering to the Office of the County Commissioners election supplies to include computix books, the required quantity of military envelopes and instruction sheets (the quantity to be de- termined by size of election district), tally sheets, general return sheets, envelopes, numbered lists of voters, voter's certificates, Election Officer's Manuals, etc., required for use by the election officers at the General Primary Election to be held Tuesday,May 15, 1962. Havilig exani.ne the attached specifications and understanding the same, I (orWe) propose to furnish these supplies in accordance therewith, for the sum of $1975.00 A certified check in the amount of $100.00 is enclosed, herewith, made payable to Washington County Commissioners, as evidence that the bidder will accept same and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of award.
