Perry be appointed as an Orderly at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men, replacing Ralph Berisford; this ac to be effective March 21, 1962. Motion carried unanimously,. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that David W. Smith, be appointed as an Orderly at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men replacing Augustus Laws; this action to be effective March 21.1, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Thomas C. Swihart, be appointed as an Assistant Engineer replacing Grover Conklin at the Washington County Home and Hospital for this action to be effective March 21 11962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion by Mr. Cumsni.ns, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the notice for the final adoption of the Washington County Budget,be advertised and the final day of adoption to be set for Friday.. April 13., 1962, the following public notice to be given in the Washington Observer, N 0 T I C E In compliance with the Acts of Assembly covering such matters, the budget for the financial affairs for the County Af Washington for the fiscal year of 1962 having been made able for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners.. Department of Agriculture in re aid to Counties for barberry eradication as a means of controlling black stem rust of saaaU grain crops, 6, Pennsylvania State Police - request for contributions for the benefit of the State Police Civic Association, Funds used for disabled and retired mmobers of the force. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Mazza, that the County Solicitor be directed to prepare advertisement for a director of the Washington County Child Welfare Service. Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr, Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Tax Assessment Office be authorized to prepare tax refunds for the following, due to either duplication or overpayment of real estate or occupation tax. 1, Albert E. & Betty Jane Robinson, Box 106, Gastonville, Pennsylvania, Over.. payment of 1961 County Tau. Property situate in Union Township, On August 1, 1961 the amount of $19.33 was paid for 1961 County Tax valuation of property being $1785.00. November 29, 1961, correction slip reduced the valuation to $360.00 and tax to $5.45 making a refund due in the amount of $13.88. 2. Harvey T. & Velma L. PhiUps, R. D. 1, Venetia, Pennsylvania. Overpayment of 1961 County Tag. Property situate in Peters Township, valuation $6835.00. on August 1, 1961, the amount of $68.50 was paid for 1961 County Tax.
