Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members
being present: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Also present being: County Solicitor
Massock and Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hormell.
Meeting called to order by Francis E. Pettit, Chairman of the Board and adjourned
to Wednesday at lO:OO a.m., April 4, 1962.

Board of County Commissioners met in regular session (this being a continuation of
Monday's meeting, April 2, 1962) with the following ;embers being presents Commissioners Pettit,
Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Mazza, that ,the Monongahela Publishing Com"-
jpany, h40-444 West Main Street, Monongahela„ Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for the p
land delivering of the required number of 1962 tax statements, as per specifications, for the
lof $5,582.60 and the printing and delivering of delinquent notices, as per specifications, for th,

jambunt of $25,00. This award is made in accordance with their bid which was the lowest bid recei
f
(Materials to be delivered to the County Treasurer's Office. Bids were opened on March 30, 1962,
per advertisement and tabled at that time,
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins., seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Ward Printing Company, 82-
88 Shaffer Avenue$ Washington, Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for the printing and deliver

ling of approximately 10,000 delinquent notices (as per specifications) for the amount of $l,100.4
This award is made in accordance with their bid, which was the lowest bid received. Materials to
be delivered to the County Treasurer's Office. Bids were opened on March 30, 1962, as per
isement and tabled at that time.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Mazza, that due to Michael Blasier's long
service with Washington County his meritorious sick leave be extended to May 1, 1962.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the following employees be

in the Tax Assessment Office, as of dates indicated:
Janet DeStefan - rehired - April 2, 1962
John Packrall, Jr, - replacement - April 2, 1962

1 and that on July 30, 1962, the budget shall be reviewed and the work in the Tax Assessment Office
