Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mrs Mazza., being that an itemized statement of the 1961 Loyalty Day expenses have been submitted to the Chief Clerk's Office by Wayne D. Frazee., t Commander., 24th District Veterans of Foreign Wars., in compliance with our letter dated April 2, 1962, that a voucher be prepared in the amount of $300,00 payable to Mrs Frazee, in order to help defray the expenses of the 1962 Loyalty Day Observance., being held in Monongahela., Pennsylvania., on May 5., 1962. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Norman Leeper, be appointed as a night watchman at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men replacing James Arnone, this action to be effective March 26., 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Thomas J. Kaz,, be appointed as an I ! orderly at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men replacing James Perry; this action to be effective April 24, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Patricia L. Romano, be appointed as a clerical employee on a temporary basis, at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this iaction to be effective April 3, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Clark Burgess be appointed as an i iEngineer on a temporary basis at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this action to be ieffective March 30., 1962s Motion carried unanimously. Wilson,, be appointed as an :Engineer replacing Joe Smith, at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this action to be effective April 2, 1962. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following persons be appointed as cleaning women, account no. 103, effective date appearing opposite their name. Also present being: County Solicitor Massoek, Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hormell and Reporter Crouse. The Pennsylvania Association of County Home Superintendents are holding a conference on Friday, May 4, 1962, at the Penn Harris Hotel in Harrisburg and the following persons repre- senting Washington County will be present: Samuel J. Bondi - Director of Surplus Food Peter F. Jolliek - Superintendent of Washington County Home and Hospital for Men Ross R. Cummins - Assistant Superintendent of Washington County Home for Aged Women Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following polling places be approved, due to the fact, that a more convenient and centrally located place is needed. CECIL 5th Precinct From: Basement of Walter Hataldky To: Herman Bell residence Rental: Same ($30.00) WASHINGTON 6th Ward - 3rd Precinct From: Mathias Garage - Brady Avenue To: St. Paul's Lutheran Church 775 N.
